| We Keep It Simple |
In 1989, Advantage SPS built what we believe were the first diesel powered, self-contained, cartridge dust collectors. They moved 30,000 CFM and used gravity to unload the dust. While they were crude by today's standards, the DC-30KT models showed that mobile dust collection was possible. Those original two units are still in use today.
Our current models, after 20 years of evolution, are both easy to operate and maintain. Most importantly, we have added standard features that make it impossible to run the units if the pulse system is not operating. From talking with many contractors, it was clear that the number one problem was that operators often failed to either turn on or hook up the pulse air, which then caused the filters to plug-up and fail. This small addition will insure that running the Advantage SPS Dust Collector is as easy as starting the diesel and pushing the ON switch.
Because the clutch is the next troublesome area, we offer automatic clutches on selected models. This option completely eliminates the need to worry about clutch adjustment . . . which is the #1 customer reported problem with all diesel powered equipment.
Filter replacement on all units is completed by opening the top doors and removing the filters. This way, the dust that falls off the replacement filters is easily controlled in the plenum area. Perhaps the biggest advance has come in the area of filter materials. We are now able to use filters made from synthetic materials that last much longer than the cellulose that we used back in 1989.
Every order is unique, so let us know your special requirements. With our powerful computer design package, we can show you exactly what your dust collector will look like before we start fabrication.
